Preventing Homelessness in Reading

We know Reading has a strong community heart beating at its core, because we couldn’t have achieved all we have without it.

We’ve had the support of many local community groups including: Douglas Bader Court who knit squares for blankets for us, Stoke Row Beavers held an evening of musical entertainment and Reading Irish Centre hold an annual dance at the club.

We also work with in partnership with local and national charities to provide coordinated services that meet the needs of vulnerable people for example iRiS provide substance and alcohol misuse support for our clients that need it, in the town. And support from community groups mean we all benefit from each others skills and expertise to make a long-lasting difference to the lives of people in Reading.
