Funding for Launchpad’s core projects - housing and housing related support - comes from Supporting People and Housing Benefit. This funding enables Launchpad to house people and offer them the basic help they need to sustain a tenancy. However for the majority of the people we help, this is not enough as they struggle to cope with other problems ranging from mental health conditions that make it difficult for them to cope without extra help, to substance or alcohol misuse that constantly gets in the way of them making changes to their lives.

For this reason, Launchpad has, over the past few years, extended the scope of its work to introduce a number of new projects to help tackle the many issues they face. These projects are only possible with additional funding. For this reason Launchpad is committed to a programme of fundraising activity that includes events, community giving and grants from charitable funders.

We know that these interventions make a difference. They help people to address the problems they face. They provide additional resources to ensure that a range of support is available. They bring in extra expertise to help solve problems. Importantly they help people to make informed choices about their future and to move on to a fulfilled and positive life.
