Head of Marketing and Fundraising

£45-£50K per annum part time pro rata

Reporting to the CEO, we have now introduced a new role to lead our successful fundraising and marketing team and complete the Senior Management Team.  This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing organisation at a time of change.  Coming into this role you will bring new and innovative ideas and work alongside trustees, staff and stakeholders to move the charity forward to achieve our goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong fundraising background, previous experience in the charity sector and a track record of achieving financial targets.  Applications from candidates with a successful career in sales or marketing will also be welcomed.

Housing Officer

Full time, up to £24k per annum depending on skills and experience.

Reporting to the Housing Manager, the Housing Officer is responsible for providing a pro-active service in rent management and arrears tracking, property inspection, client liaison and handling complex anti-social behaviour cases. The role involves working with other agencies and organisations to provide an effective service. You will be part of a small housing team focusing primarily on rents management.  You will work closely with other team members to ensure that our clients and prospective clients operate within the Charity’s guidelines on a range of housing related matters.

The ideal candidate will have a flexible and responsive approach to managing the role. You will be pro-active and enthusiastic about the aims and services that Launchpad provides. As well as having experience of handling complex client needs and providing effective solutions, you will have excellent interpersonal and communications skills. All candidates should have a sound knowledge of housing legislation and experience of county court procedures together with good levels of literacy and numeracy (minimum GCSE standard, preferably A level), including basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The preferred candidate will also have a relevant vocational qualification and knowledge of the social inclusion agenda including homelessness and local issues.

Floating Support Tier 1 & Drop-in Coordinator

Full time, £25k per annum depending on skills and experience.

Launchpad successfully retendered to provide our dynamic Floating Support service, under a 5 year contract with Reading Borough Council.  The service provides support with tenancy sustainment, resettlement support, advice and advocacy, life skills, budgeting, mental health as well as support on education, training and employment and ongoing challenges within housing. The focus is very much about the prevention of homelessness and our Drop-in Service is a key part of our strategy on homelessness prevention.

In this permanent position, you will coordinate our ‘Triage’ and Drop-in Service. You will  ensure that we successfully deliver a flexible client focused service and that contractual requirements are met for short term clients needing our support. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all clients who contact the service receive one off advice signposting, or short term timely plans.

Our successful candidate will have a proven track record in support and housing services, ideally with evidence of working to contract specifications and high service level deliverables.
